We did the same last year at Villamartin. It was nice ish during the day. However the house was cold even with air con units blowing heat. We really didn't enjoy it and won't be doing it again. If you live out there you install central heating. Spanish homes are not built for cold and are difficult to heat and keep hot.

Don't be put off. The bars and restaurants were busy. That was a good thing. It just wasn't nice being cold. It took me back to my childhood living in a house with no central heating. If you're only in an apartment it may be easier to heat and keep warm.
