Furniture shopping

For beds the Bed Shop in La Zenia down from the taxi rank near the N332 roundabout beside the Randy Leprechaun pub, good prices free delivery. For bedding the shop next door to it or Primark at Zenia Boulevard.

Outdoor furniture and loungers, quality at Siesta off the N332 near Cabo Roig roundabout, inexpensive at the Chinese Bazaars.

TV's and electrical good etc, Conforama or Media Markt both at Zenia Boulevard, also try Milar at Punta Prima.

Conforama also for all types of furniture.

Leroy Merlin at Zenia Boulevard is like B&Q with lots of household stuff.

Most places will do next day delivery although check for which ones do free delivery and which ones charge as many will charge up to 30-40 Euros.

We were in the same boat as you last month. We bought several large items from JYSK in punta prima. Lovely shop . They had a sale on outdoor furniture and it was delivered within 30 mintues

As above, all good advice.

There's also a Yorkshire Linen near Zenia Boulevard - they had a sale on when we were there in Sept. Got all our bedding cheaper that anywhere else, good quality too.

Theres an Ikea in Murcia, 40-50 min drive if you have a car.

We paid €25 for next day delivery on beds and mattresses from Conforama. Good range, pruces and staff we veey helpful. Would normally be looking for free delivery but when you've only got a few days you've no choice.

Conforama is great for most furniture items, especially sofas, and service is excellent. Leroy Merlin for most other stuff. I’ve used Euronics for electrical items and they were superb too, delivered a fridge within an hour! JYSK is also good for furnishings.

The Chinese shops are ideal for bits and bobs, cheap pictures etc. We struggled for outdoor furniture and eventually used the shop outside opposite Leroy Merlin, but not cheap. Bedding and linen, you can’t really beat Primark.

Curtains can be a problem cos they all seem to be for fitting on poles rather than hooks which is fine if you are putting up new poles but be aware Spanish plaster is ROCK HARD!! We’ve ended up bringing curtains from the UK.
