Regarding dog owners on Flora De Ponoig Polop urbanisation. I am discusted with owners who do not pick up after their dogs. If you are not willing then you should not own one. I constantly have to remove dogs muck from outside my home so hoping you read this and understand why I am upset.

This has been discussed many,  many times as it happens all over Spain. Its a disgusting practice not to clean up after your dog but owners don't seem worried 🤷

It’s the same everywhere. We used to live in a rural area abutting woodland areas, with a public footpath running past our house which was on the edge of the woods. The trees were decorated with plastic bags containing dog faeces which remained there permanently. The full horror came when neighbours one winter opened the road gravel container at the end of our lane in the hope of spreading gravel to obviate the ice problem. There was no gravel, the Council not having bothered for years, but the container was loaded with dog faeces in increasing stages of decomposition.

Thank you for commenting. I will never understand the mentality of people who think this is ok behaviour.

The trouble is, that it seems to be the majority of people, whose sense of public responsibility does not extend to either cleaning up after, or training their dogs to behave in a manner acceptable to the rest of us.

We are cat owners!

I agree with all the comments,Albir is equally as bad, there are certain roads where you cant take more than 6 steps and there is dogs muck,I have challenged several people when I seen them just watch their  dog mess and then just walk away, only to have a hail of abuse and threats of violence hurled at me,I am sure if  they had child that became seriously ill  with some parasitic disease as a result of coming into contact with dog faeces they wouldn't be so quick in telling me to eff off.I have 2 dogs of my own and so I carry I supply of pooh bags and I have offered bags to offenders well you can only imagine the response. Its about time all town Halls started taking action and took a more serious approach to the situation, and employed "Dog wardens" with the power to issue on the spot fines for offenders and even be able to ask a person walking their dogs proof of having pooh bags on their person, which happened to myself when I was living in Brighton ,come on dog owners take responsibility for owning a dog

This is so true, I have had cats the majority of my life.
