Did any of you ever find your pad in Polop? If so, what's life like in the town? Thinking of moving to the area and the rental seems v reasonable (ie; cheaper than Costa)

I’m replying to an ancient message … anybody still checkin’ this thread ? Helloooo…lloo… ooo…? :) I am also seriously looking at this area and wondering what the living/social atmosphere is like. If I make the plunge I will work on mi espagnol but just curious if there is an international community as well around. I have such a nice international and local mix of friends in the Netherlands after being here for 17 years. Would be tough to leave NL permanently but damn, I gotsta get South when it is cold and rainy in the Autumn through Spring.
Anyone living in Polop area now who could comment on their experience with social life? in this thread or by PM.
