Hi we have a holiday home and try and come out to Spain as much as possible. Problem is our Spanish neighbour has two French bull dogs. They are not pets they are gaurd dogs only. They work and both leave home at 8:30 on morning and come home at 9-930 at night. The dogs bark for most of the day. We have tried reasoning with them. They now tie up the younger of the two dogs during day so cannot jump into our garden. He is tied up all day. We cannot sit in our garden as no longer enjoyable.

HBe complained to communal team who we pay our fees regularly without fail. They had words with neighbours and this is when dog now tied up.

We have since found out that our neighbour is the president of the communal dept. So now know why they did nothing.

Has anyone got any ideas on way forward?

We had a similar problem with noisy neighbours dogs and another neighbour went to the local police and lodged a denouncier (not sure if that’s the correct spelling) which requires the police to do something about it.

The owners eventually removed the dogs and problem now solved.
