Today a pool cleaner arrived and cleaned the complex pool. The gate of the pool is about 3.5 meters from my front door. He had no mask and no gloves.

I am concerned that walking past he could be touching peoples gates and fences and those in the complex could be doing the same near the pool fence and gate.

I have abided with the lockdown and as an at risk profile person do not think it is right that pool cleaners have access, or alternatively do not wear masks and gloves, nor wipe down where they touch with sanitizer.

I also am guessing the pool cleaner cleans many complexes, touching external gates for access and pool gates and fences etc.

COVID19 does not move - people move it. I do not believe our complexes should be placing us in this type of risk.

Speak to your President about the problem, or the Administrator.

Do you know if the cleaners are allowed to work. I believe people went back to work today.

The president of the complex does not give a hoot. Have complained about this once before - all he said was you should not be out of your house. I explained I was allowed on my patio. He is at home in the uk.

The only people allowed to return to work this week are to do with agriculture and the construction industries, except for those doing alterations and/or building work in an occupied house.

If your President is not of any help then contact the community's Administrator.

You are not just confined to your house, you can walk within, I believe, 50 metres of your home except if going to a pharmacy or to do some shopping at your nearest shop or supermarket.

If you contact him again can I suggest that you advise him to look at this website:   https://www.lamoncloa.gob.es/lang/en/Paginas/index.aspx

It is the Spanish government website and can be viewed in English.

When you have your next AGM it might be a good idea to make a suggestion that only resident owners be elected to the position of president of the community.

Thank you I will pass this onto the owner as I am a tenant but have been chairman of body corporates in SOuth Africa. This presidents lack of proactive action to keep the complex safe and informed have been inexcusable.

Please be aware you are not allowed to walk within 50 mtrs. of your home unless you are walking the dog or doing essential shopping. Unlike the UK here in Spain the lockdown is not as lenient and rightly so.
