Help with shower problem

The waste on my shower has disappeared below the shower tray.

Anybody got any ideas how to retrieve it without having to remove or replace the tray.

Would a wire coat hangar do it? Other than that, you'll need to send a small child down!

I have tried the wire coat hanger trick but as yet with no success.

The problem is the waste (bottom part) has retracted back away from the hole and I cant get at it.

Thanks anyway.

One of those sticks that are often used in shops to grab items off high shelves. A spring loaded claw on one end and a trigger squeeze handle on the other. Could do the trick John if the waste trap isnt too far away from the shower hole and providing those devices are available in Spain, Chinese Bazzars, maybe ?
