If you mean Gestores, then yes they can help you exchange your UK licence for a Spanish one, or renew an out of date one.

They will certainly help you "exchange" your UK driving license for a Spanish drivers license, at a cost.

Thankyou Steve, do you know how much it would cost?

Hi Anne,

The cost may vary from one Gestor to another, as the total fee comprises the cost of the medical, plus the Gestor's fee, but around €120 per person was the going rate last year.

Kind regards,

Kim

I used a gestor to exchange my UK licence for a Spanish one in 2016. The cost was 100€ gestor fee, which included all the form filling and running around.

I also had to have a medical as I was approaching 70, and that cost me an extra 35€ paid to the medical centre.

Thankyou Ray, do you have any information about booking appointments, my husband has been trying but no luck so far?

I just walked into a gestr's office in Almoradí and asked him to do the exchange.

He told me I had to have a medical, so I just went to the centre that does them for a driving licence in Catral, had it done and handed the form to the gestor.

No appointments at either, although the medical place is only open a couple of hours a few days a week. In 2016 I just turned up and joined the queue.

But with the situation now with Brexit getting nearer it’s harder to get an appointment ie timescale .
