Hi,

We're new to Rojales having sadly just inherited property here after a death in the family. Although we're not ready to move out here, we are loving it here and hoping this will be the first of many trips out here.

Can anyone advise us on the best way to meet people and make friends? We're both professionals from financial services and medicine and we have a 15yr old daughter.

We would be really grateful for any advice at all. Thank you.

Deborah

Hello Deborah,

There's plenty of expatriates locally to you - no doubt you'll bump into one or two. In Rojales believe it or not 50% of the population are expatriates - suspect you probably have some expat neighbours.

Myself and parter both in our 40's are local to you and been here 14 years. I'm self employed, so can usually sneak off for a coffee or lunch, if you would to meet and any advice on the area - welcome to contact us when you are out next & we can sort something out.

There are also local face book groups which have activities when you are here. My partner is part of a ladies group, healthy bunch - go for walks & sociable odd evening out etc - i'm sure she'll be happy to introduce you.

Thank you so much!

If we come back out at Christmas we'll be in touch. I'm definitely interested in a ladies group and my husband would be interested in a golfing buddy or someone to go for a beer with (We're right on La Marquesa Golf Course)

We hope to see you next time! 😊
