Hi hope you are all keeping well. We are new to the area, can anyone please recommend an English speaking heating engineer/plumber, as our boiler has stopped working and lost pressure.

Best regards

Patrick

If it is a combi boiler, it will most likely have stopped working because it has lost pressure. There should be a filling loop underneath it with a valve that you open just a little in order to restore pressure. Once pressure is back up (usually the correct level is shown as a green segment on the gauge or if digital, the display stops flashing) close the valve. The loop may be disconnected, in which case it first has to be reconnected and then disconnected after filling.

Its a much easier procedure than my description above might indicate!!!

I thoroughly recommend KVA Solar, Almoradi. Frederick is French but speaks excellent English, his wife runs the office and also speaks English. Very well qualified and extremely professional. No problems with any work he has done for us or our friends.
