We used a professional pet transport company. Presume you mean for a permanent move as this avenue wouldn’t necessarily be appropriate for a vacation.

For us it took the hassle out of worrying about our cats whilst removal men were there, and they were delivered to a local cattery here where they stayed until we had moved into our own property, a matter of some three weeks. I would do this again if necessary, as the added problems of travelling with animals, especially cats, is not fair on them or us!

Hi Lorri, we used animalcouriers.com based in w. Sussex. We delivered our cats to a cattery adjacent to them a couple of days before they were leaving to avoid the removers. As said, they placed them in a cattery here with whom they have arrangements. The transport was around 450 sterling some 5 years ago plus of course the costs of the catteries and the requisite veterinary documentation and vaccinations etc.
