Wanting a "used" cheap Smartphone

Hi there informative people.

I am writing on behalf of a friend staying with me

"Where can I buy a cheap (used) Smartphone within 10 kilometres of Rojales. I have an English phone and it is just to make Spanish calls. I have a basic Nokia but it cannot turn roaming off to use in Spain. (I am with LOBSTER). Also if I put the sim in my English phone to switch roaming off I am worried in case I lose my numbers"

If it’s just to make and receive calls, do you actually need a Smartphone. Basic mobiles can be obtained very cheaply from many of the phone shops around.

Why would you need to turn off roaming there are no charges

Unwanted present unlocked to any sim.
