The following is from the Citizens Advice Bureau Spain website posted 4 Jan 2021:

https://www.citizensadvice.org.es/faq/spanish-governments-strategy-on-covid-19-vaccinations/

From the British Embassy for those with private healthcare:

We know that some of you are concerned about how you will get the Covid vaccine in Spain, particularly those of you who access healthcare via private health insurance.

The Spanish Ministry of Health announced that they would be offering the vaccine to everyone in Spain on public health grounds. It is for the Spanish authorities to determine how and in what order the vaccine rollout is implemented.

We are following closely what that will mean for British nationals resident in Spain and we will keep you updated if we have further information. Meanwhile, you can find more information at”: https://www.vacunacovid.gob.es

For your particular regional area.:

You can also check at your health centre.

I dont live on mainland Spain. Live on Mallorca. Not British either. Norwegian. Have lived here 8 months now. Alone, after a divorce. Follow this forum because I am planning to move to this area. Mallorca is far too expensive for buying something. House/ decent apartment, etc. Only 54, so dont think I ever will get a vaccine here. Everything goes slow in Spain, is my experience. Or they make it go slow. Or they dont know what they are doing. Sorry for being a bit negative here. It is just my experience/ opinion. But, came here for other reasons. Weather, climate, ‘new’ life. Sooo, I will stay, no matter what.

Hi Andrea ,I hope you are well. I dont blame you for wanting a change in climate .I served in the British military and spent 15 winters and a few summers in Norge.I always said that when I retired I wanted some sunshine as I have experienced a lot of cold in my time. I moved permanantly to mainland Spain 2 years ago but I have had a home here for 14 years. The Spanish system can be very frustrating at times as the red tape is always abundant but you come to accept it and go with the flow ( but sometimes I just want to kick their arses lol). I hope you find happiness and get some warm sunshine on your bones lol. Hope you dont mind me answering to your post ,if you like we can become pen friends ,best wishes Bob.

Thank you Bob!
Think I will come out stronger than before after all kinds of mess I have been going through. Spain is very ok, just as a tourist, but it sure has a darker side too. Must be something in their history. Dictatorship until 1975....Not long ago, really.
