It would be reassuring to know if the antigen test is acceptable. If anyone flies to the U.K. maybe they could update the forum. My daughters are flying out on 11th and I don’t really want to pay for PCR if antigen ok. I know the guidance says ‘advised’ so assume it is just that but you nev...

I arrived back in the uk on Thursday and the antigen test was sufficient, I paid 30 euros.

Thanks for that, I know there are plenty places doing them but most of them charge between 40 and 50 euros so was just wondering if it was local to Torrevieja 30 euros is the cheapest I've heard of but a bit far to go to Elder.

I think they're cheaper at the Airport but we didn't want the stress of having to get there early and find the testing centre etc.

Hi

Where are the covid test places in Gandia that are within 20 mins walk of train station for return fllight tests to UK?

Are they  reliable firms, What is the cost and how long for appointment & result?

Virgen Clinic - Pilar de la Horadada. No appointment, just walk in. 30 min wait for results.

You may do as you choose but allow me to remind you that any of us can catch Covid and have no way of knowing where they caught it. The PCR  is more expensive but provides a definitive result. The Antigen isn’t just as definitive as it. Would you not prefer to be sitting on a flight knowin...

...g that everyone on board was covid free? You have a choice of who you mix with in normal life but sitting in a large enclosed vehicle is another story. You will find that a PCR test will be the test required. we are all “advised” not to travel but people like you and myself want to visit our Spanish homes and decide to ignore the advice given. That being the case, we are now obliged to take tests in order to gain entry into our country of residence so as to keep ourselves free from covid and our fellow man. The bottom line is, we have to dig into our pockets and pay for our decision to travel. We travelled to our house  at the beginning of July and returned home 2 weeks ago. It was worth every penny spent to do what we both really had our hearts set on. We loved every minute of the time spent in Spain.

You might like getting ripped off,  but the rest of us can see this scam for what it is. Pay the lest amount as possible people.
