Hi,

I miss having corned beef and note in Tesco , ciudad quesada, it is priced at over 5 euros for I think about 328 grams. .

I just hope that I could buy it cheaper than that elsewhere.

Thanks for reading.

We also love Corned Beef and it seems to be priced well above UK prices for some reason. We used to buy it in the UK for around £1.50 a tin whereas here in Benidorm it's around €5.00.

Hence very rare I get corned beef sandwiches 🥪 😋

It’s generally slightly cheaper in Pic n Pay in Guardamar  and if it makes you feel better it’s now around £2.75 back in the UK

Don't forget that it has to be sent or brought to Spain so there is the price of the fuel used to consider.

Yes but when you split that cost between 10,000 tins it still shouldn't add that much to one tin. The UK used to ship corned beef from Argentina but still a give away price at that time.

Totally agree, GB goods or any other items from overseas will be shipped in bulk but as the saying goes nobody is forcing you to buy the excessive priced items……………but I do, as a treat😏

Much as I like corned beef I’ve never met a foreigner that likes it (probably never tried it) and I don’t think young people like it nowadays either. When I drive to the UK I always bring a few tins back for my private stash!
