Garden solar lights

Hi I have some solar garden fence lights I want to take from UK to spain. Does anyone know if I can take as hand luggage.

The light unit itself should pose no problem, but as RayD has mentioned the spike , even though fairly blunt, that comes with it, if indeed you have bought that type, could possibly be an issue at Airport Security.
Naranja states she had no problems , so to be on the safe side it's a case of a telephone call to customer services of the Airline you are flying with,
