Hi all,

Im off to Valencia for a few days. Im driving so would like to know if anyone has driven and parked. I realise the best places would be to try and find a pace outside the city area. What are the rules i need to look out for as this might be different for our area of Quesada.
Like not parking next to yellow lines etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards Steeve

Although I have not visited for over a year. I have found it easy nr. the Rio Turia (in the area of eg: Holiday Inn area & others) circa L'oceanfrafic X the river. Many times, all free, & easy. One will need a ( pleasurable) walk into the main centre) V

It might be better to drive to Gandia and then get the train. Buses are quite cheap in Valencia

Hi

Like Snoxell, I also drove to a nearby railway station - Xeraco.

It's a small station in an industrial area with plenty of free parking (car park is usually full, but there's plenty of street parking).

There's a commuter train every 40 mins or so and not expensive which takes you right into the city centre.

Cheers

Another suggestion, drive to Alicante city and take the train from there. Frequent, regular train service and the station in Valencia is in the centre of town.

Have a good trip.

Cheers, Janice

While since I have been,I always used to drive to Elda station and get the train from there, plenty of parking at the station and hospital " overflow carpark" just up the hill.
