Dentures
Anyone have any idea on the cost of dentures here in Spain? My daughter in UK, in her 50s now so no spring chicken, has received some pretty bad medical care in UK. Unable to see a doctor except on line and all they've done is added extra pills to any problems she has had. She went to a specialist due to cramped hands and he was flabbergasted at the fact she was on 10 different types of medication at her age. He also says the reason she has lost a fair few teeth is because the medication prescribed has had a bad effect. Has had 7 of the prescribed meds cancelled but has caused a lot of her teeth to fall out.
NHS cost would be about 350 quid but, and here's the rub, waiting list could be 2 to 3 years. Yes, 2 to 3 years. She is visiting us in June time so I thought I would enquire how much they would be here to save her waiting that long which seems a bit ridiculous. A private dentist in UK quoted her £3,000 for a full upper and partial lower set but would be done quicker so just wondering if it would be better if she had them done here.
