I am 70 years old and desperate to find a lively, sociable person either male or female in roughly the same age group with whom to share an apartment or house somewhere in Costa Blanca/Murcia/Almeria for company and to share living costs.

I have made several attempts to find like minded people who are easy going, fun and intelligent but time seems to be passing me by as I have no partner with whom to go and I am afraid that the time will come when to live abroad will be wishful thinking only. I really don't want the opportunity to pass me by.

I would ideally like to spend Summer in Spain and return for the winter until I get my business affairs in England sorted. I am fairly flexible as to where the location is but would prefer somewhere that isn't isolated as I am not a driver.

I do speak a reasonable amount of Spanish so could be helpful for a non Spanish speaker.

I love dogs and animals generally, swimming, walking, bars, restaurants, chatting and laughing. I also love being on the water although I know nothing about boats!

Please, if anyone knows anyone kind, friendly and honest, of similar age and interests, let me know.

My experience of being an older person, particularly female, is that you tend to get overlooked. I lived in Almeria for 6 months on my own and found it very lonely.
