Hello, I would like to use my garage as extra accommodation when family visit, with that in mind I thought to change the up and over door to glass bi-fold doors sothe car can move back in when they all go home.

Has anybody had similar done and if so could you recommend a company to carry out the task, maybe even stick up a picture and let me see how it looks.😎

I think you have to apply to yoururbanisation for permission to make alterations to your home.  You will also require a licence from the town hall.

All that said, you may not get permission.

You could put a full length curtain pole above the door and hang heavy white voile curtains which will hide the door and are bright. Do you have a wall where you could knock a hole in for a window?

Bi fold doors would work well but you would also need to have roller shutters or a metal security gate...wouldn’t you?

Has anyone else on your urbanisation carried out a similar change?  If so, go and ask them for some advice.

Good luck.  Making alterations to your property in Spain isn’t as easy as it is in the U.K.
