If it is a combi boiler, it will most likely have stopped working because it has lost pressure. There should be a filling loop underneath it with a valve that you open just a little in order to restore pressure. Once pressure is back up (usually the correct level is shown as a green segment on the gauge or if digital, the display stops flashing) close the valve. The loop may be disconnected, in which case it first has to be reconnected and then disconnected after filling.
Its a much easier procedure than my description above might indicate!!!
