Thanks to a great article from Kimmy11 about dealing with this topic - there have been one or two small changes since writing but easy enough to translate.  Our problem and presumably many other people is in getting the initial appointment.  Have been phoning every day (and sometimes 2/3 times a day)for nearly 6weeks now, with the same message coming up every time (no appointments available at this time).  I believe I saw another subscriber to this Forum, 2/3 weeks ago, saying they had got through that morning and obtaining their date - how on earth did they succeed?  Be glad to hear any other subscribers advice.

Hi DAF78,

Have you tried booking an appointment online, at the link I provide in my guide?  Sunday is the best day to secure an appointment.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kimmy,

All of our attempts were made online, following the instruction on your original post!  In fact we’re not aware of any other way of doing this.  Re Sunday’s,, yes treat these as any other day. Today, for example 2 attempts made, still no joy!

OK, DAF78, but in your original post, you say you've been "phoning" every day, hence my query.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hello,

If you have a problem with the first appointment, "the TIE application".

My recommendation is to do it online, you can write to us at [email protected] You have to do it before the 31st of March.

If the appointment is needed for the fingerprints, we can get it in 10 working day maximum.

Thanks for your interest but no thanks.  We are looking to replace the original green A4 Residencia document with the TIE card, which we understand has no time limit at present.  We also understand that fingerprints are taken at the Foreigners Office in Alicante when you present the EX23 form.

Yes, you don't have a time limit.

We can also help you to get the appointment if needed.

Do you charge for getting the finger print appointment? Our residency application has been approved, just need the finger print appointment.
