Share a holiday bungalow. Changed the bank account for new signatories, successfully changed over all direct debits except for Hidraqua. I have written to them with all the details and paper proof, They did receive letter as I had recorded delivery. No response, Desperate to move direct debit and they have the new bank details. When I email they will not accept any of my details or those of the other signatory so I cannot get through to them. I telephoned from UK and they put the phone down when I asked if someone could talk in English to me. Current bank cannot take any action.

I am elderly and cannot possibly travel in the foreseeable future, other signatory has dementia and does not understand.

Ideas would be really helpful me. At my wits end and keep hitting brick wall, just need to be able to communicate by email to the water company.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Thanks for your prompt response much appreciated. Unfortunately these are the two sites I have tried but you have to sign in with your details which they will not accept. If I could just email them with my problem that would be good but everything I try asks for my passport and contact number. I have renewed my passport and have a different mobile so I cannot get through to them.

An email that they would answer would be superb.

Thanks again RayD appreciate your help.

Jean, all I can suggest is that you try to register for online access to Hidraqua. If that succeeds, then you should be able to change the direct debit online.
