Hi Khodadad and Sara, have you tried going to the local bars on the Urbanisation, just popping in for a coffee you will meet people of all age groups, and you will find that they are very informative friendly and very helpful.

Thanks for those. Yes, we noticed that they are indeed many retirees around who are quite sweet and helpful as well. But yes, a younger crowd would be welcomed.
Yes, I have gone to bars and coffee shops. I guess I have shied away from engaging strangers in conversations, and I feel that since I am neither English nor German nor French nor Scandinavian (although I speak languages of all those areas) but rather a brown man in a Western European retiree enclave, it is a bit odd and I am eyed rather suspiciously at times as the one who "looks Spanish but is not Spanish"!!!! :) This is why I thought of making connections here first and then maybe meet up for a drink later! Anyway, thanks again and I shall try better!

Myself and partner just returned from the urb.
In exactly the same boat in our thirties have a holiday home come over regularly but are finding it difficult to meet people in our age group.
Would be great to have a coffee with you my partner enjoys going to watch sports also.
