For San Fulgencio it is Elche police station. But you need an appointment

Elche. But you will need an appointment and will still have to wait. You will need all your documents photo copied three times.plus two photos and proof of income or pension to prove you won't be a burden on the state for health. Bank statements and private health policy if not a pensioner.they are very firm on this part.

Elche would be the nearest to San Fulgencio, the adress is c/ Alvet, 1. To apply for appintments they accept by phone 060 or through their website http://www.interior.gob.es/en/web/servicios-al-ciudadano/dni/cita-previa.

Appointments usually take one or two months, although they usually give (limited) appointments for the same day queuing at 5/6 am in the same polic station.

As an alternative, any 'Gestoria' may take over all these procedures by charging a reasonable fee.
