I have been told that I am allowed to go to the paint shop on industrial estate, behind Iceland and that they are open 8am to 1pm.   I want to buy paint for garden.   Does anybody know if this is correct.

Please let us know who told you that you could go, was it an Official source or just someone you know.

My neighbour went and said they are open in morning.  If they are open surely we can shop!

My understanding is that construction workers were among those for whom restrictions were eased for essential jobs, sadly I do not think going to buy paint for use in your garden can be classed as essential work. It is up to you but a fine of over 600€ would make it a very expensive tin of paint. personally I would recommend that you wait for better times.

To be on the safe side why don't you phone them and ask if they will deliver, then you don't have to worry if you are sticking to the rules, and could save you a 600€ fine '

I had thought of that but they mixed the wrong colour so not sure what to order.  Think it would be better to worry about painting until the summer.   Thank you.
