Hi,

For many summers my family and I have visited my mum's apartment in San Luis and enjoyed the wonderful beaches, restaurants, pubs and scenery that Torrevieja has to offer.

As with many visiting families, we often go for walks around San Luis, La Siesta and El Chaparral dreaming of one day owning our own little patch in paradise and for me, one little patch (somewhat rundown now) has a special place in my heart. It's been vacant for quiet a few years and this summer I decided to take the plunge and call the numbers advertised on the fading sign nailed to a tree in the front driveway. Sadly, the numbers don't seem to be working anymore and, as it's a private sale, I'm not sure how to contact the owners about making an offer.

Is there a way of finding out who the current owners are via the local council?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thank you,

Vicky

If unsuccessful, try the following: Go to your Cataster office, identify the property and get the Cataster Reference (usually a 20 character chain). Then, with this information go to the Land Registry and get an extract (nota simple) for a small fee. See here: https://www.registradores.org:444/propiedad/pags/condiciones/instrucciones.jsp

The town hall will not show you The "VOLANTE DE EMPADRONAMIENTO COLECTIVO" because it is a private info. How can someone think is going to be public who lives in a house....

You can know who is the owner because you need to be sure in case you are buying a property for security reasons. You need to go to an office or online  to "registro de la propiedad" and you will pay arround 10 euros for that info. You need to tell them the exactly reason or the "references catrastal".
