I am currently in England but need to write an email urgently to my bank (BMN in San Miguel de Salinas) but the BMN website facility is not currently functioning. Can anyone please give me an email address for any of the bank's staff so that I can explain a problem. I have an old email address for Carmen but that was related to Cajamurcia.

Help would be very much appreciated.

Hi have you tried the email address: [email protected]

You could put the office number, which I believe for your branch is Oficina 0410, in the Subject  Line and  ask them to forward it to your particular branch. It's a long shot but may be worth a try, unless anyone on here can give you the direct email for your branch.

Good luck.

Thanks so much for your swift and helpful response. I am really amazed that BMN does not provide any means of contact except by phone. My Spanish is not sufficient to relate complex financial issues I now have with my BMN credit card - being charged for a purchase in France this week which I have not made.

The BMN website does have a page for contact via email but it seems no longer operational. I will pursue the issue with the address you kindly provided.

I would think that if you email in English it will be ok. I bank with a different Spanish bank and have always sent and received replies in English.

I wouldn't give too much sensitive info in your email maybe name address and partial card details not the full number, as I'm  sure the bank will be able to access your account without too much trouble. You can't be too careful with emails. I worked for over 35 years in the banking industry in the UK.

Once again good luck.

More thanks to you again. I sent an email using your advice (in English) and have just received a kind acknowledgement from BMN - in English. I have always been very cautious with my email contents and have only ever divulged the last few digits of my cards on them.

Yes, that certainly does help. I have Carmen's old card when BMN was CajaMurcia so her email address then was very different - and no longer effective. I shall email now before speaking to her next week so Carmen will know a little bit about my problem (double charged by Shell on my MasterCard while in France).

Many thanks
