Hello,
If you´re happy to drive over here, and please bear in mind the amount of tourists over here in the summer, then I would suggest that hiring a car would be better. You will have far more freedom to pop out and about. Friends of ours say that RecordGo are the cheapest. I would also buy insurance cover in the UK as it´s far cheaper than buying it from the car hire company-
