Does anyone know where is best place to pick up passenger arriving at terminal 3 Alicante airport?

Far and away the easiest is to go in the multi-storey car-park and walk across the bridge to meet them in the arrivals hall. This will cost less than two euros, and is easier than trying to time is right so you can use the free fifteen minutes parking at departures.
As Jim says and for flight arrival time we look on flightradar24 which tracks the progress of the flight then you know if its going to be delayed so you don't have to be hanging around to long.

I do the same as Ada. If the person coming has hold baggage, I usually leave home when the flight's passing Valencia. If carry-on luggage only, I leave when it's between Barcelona and Valencia.
