Hi

I have spoken before about the problem of cats in our area but this photo which I took on a recent visit out shows the extent of the problem. This is catpoo on the footpath outside our communal pool the town hall have been notified but no action seems to have been taken.

Does anyone know is there any law which can be evoked here

Law or no law, nothing will be done about it. Cats, dogs and horses seem to have more rights than human beings.

Dog and horse poo is the responsibility of the owners but cats are not subject to human laws and with so much land concreted or tarmaced over where I wonder would you 'legislate' they go to poo?

I believe that is the reason some people put large bottles of water on the pavement outside their properties.

Dont ask me why or how it works but my understanding is that somehow the reflections put the cats off and they move on.

maybe try it and let us know the results.

Sorry but the conversation has shifted to being unhelpful and silly.

This was a genuine request however obviously if you are not affected by this then it is treated as a joke. However the health and safety of our children is affected by the quantity of cat faeces in the pool and surrounding areas

I do agree regarding faeces deposited by feral animals (sometimes after escape from captivity or domestication.) .I, as many, end up "putin"  our shoes in it.

Any helpful solutions?
