Hello really hope someone can help us, we are coming over end sept.and rentung ib san miguel, we eventually want to buy after a few months but cannot decude which is the best place to be , we dont want dead quiet but not to touristy love to be with ex pats and not to far from shops has anyone got knowledge of where will the best place to set up our new home thanks in advance

Thanks Pete , we are definitely goin to try San Miguel first but while we are there we need to look about ,I've heard at lot about blue lagoon but don't no where it is or what is there thanks again.

Oo right I won't bother then,where abouts are you  are you near San Miguel?we have a couple of friends who live in Miguel we just don't no if it's for us yet, we have noticed that it doesn't matter where we go we will def need a car .what is monteseno like and how far from Miguel Thankyou for your input it is really helping .

A lot will also depend on what you plan to spend.

San Miguel is a nice place to live, quieter than the coast but close enough to be able to get to restaurants etc easily so you have a better choice.
