I'm a man in his fifties who's rented a house in Dona Pena for the month of March. I'm bringing a bike (and I'll have a car) but I expect I'll mostly be just loafing. Any recommendations as to places of interest; bars; restaurants; shops, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

In any case so much to discover wherever you may go, but keep in mind large distances and carelessness on the road, especially on roundabouts. Always have a cellphone on hand for emergencies, dial 112 English is widely spoken.
