My Dutch wife has had residency in Spain for 30 years. When her original plastic card became redundant, she was given a ridiculous paper card, which can be used if accompanied by her old expired card. Well, that paper card has become almost unreadable, and a gestor for transferring vehicle ownership won't accept it..or passport..or escrituras for her house here.. or her drivng licence. Our Gestor says she doesn't offer a renewal service either. How can she solve this ridiculous bureaucratic nonsense? Anybody? Driving us nuts!!

She is from an EU Country..Holland. TIE cards are for people not coming from an EU Country.

Her DNE card is current, just the card has degenerated over the years. She just needs a duplicate

Thanks for your reply.

Surely there must be a process in place for people who lose their cards? Just say you lost it.

I asked a Gestor who advertises on here...just said ' you will have to apply for a new one'....
