I have downloaded the AlertCops App but I am having trouble confirming my phone number.

The app states that I will receive a code by SMS to confirm my telephone number but for some reason I don't receive the SMS.

Any advice?

No it's a UK mobile but there is an option to put a UK number, so I don't know what else to do

I know the GVA salut app won't work unless it's a Spanish number and neither will my bank send them to my UK phone. SUMA also asked me for a Spanish mobile number. My solicitors will contact me on my UK mobile but won't send an SMS unless it's a Spanish number.

When I opened a digital signature app with the tax people, they said they'd send a one time code for me to reply to but it didn't work. It did when I put my Spanish mobile number in, though. 

Maybe the SMS system won't work with a foreign (0044) lead in.

Just checked on my app and there is field with the country code +34 and in the help section it does say 'Select the country code of your mobile phone' so clearly it's not dependent on a Spanish number.
