I was told Leroy Merlin are doing home deliveries during the lockdown, but I find it impossible to place an on-line order and telephone calls have gone unanswered.

Has anybody managed to order anything from Leroy Merlin, and if so, how?

Many thanks and stay safe y'all!

Hi Tyke,

We successfully placed an order with LM at La Zenia last week and it arrived a couple of days later.  That said, they have been plugging their new phone ordering service like crazy - I've received at least one email from them every day, so perhaps it's turning out to be even more successul than they had expected?

The one thing we couldn't get was sand, because it comes from the trade store, but since the bricolages are supposed to have opened again last Monday, I'm going to give it another go.  Also, a friend in Quesada tells me that Preyser is doing home deliveries, so I may give them a try as well.  Depending on what you want, that may be another possibility for you.

Kind regards,

Kim

What's the problem with placing an order online? I've just tested it as far as I can go without actually spending money, and the online sytem seems to be working OK.

Hi Kim,

Many thanks for your reply. How did you actually place your order with LM? Was it on-line or by telephone? If by phone could you let me have the number you used pleased?

Cheers

Tyke

Thanks for reply. On-line I have selected item and put in cart, but when I check it says cart is empty and to ring to check availability. I ring but no answer. Maybe they haven't got what I want (paint).

No stock is all I can think of. I've just tested adding two random paints and they go into the cart OK.

Hi Tyke,

Rather than adding each item to your cart, select the button underneath, "Consultar disponibilidad en venta telefonica".  When you do that, you're invited to add your post code and it lists the stores in your area where the product is available, along with telephone numbers - at this stage, you may be offered multiple stores that have stock of each item.

If you want to buy multiple items, select "Anadir a la lista de la compra" and you start to compile a 'wish-list' of items - you can see your wish-list by clicking on the list icon, to the left of the cart icon, at the top, right-hand page of the screen (when you have items in your wish-list, a small blue dot appears next to it).

When you've completed your wish-list, select "Comprar lista por telefono" and you'll be invited to enter your postcode again, when the system will identify which store has stocks of everything you want to order.  We were offered Elche and La Zenia; we originally tried Elche, as it's closer to us, but we couldn't get an answer, which is why we tried La Zenia instead.

Kind regards,

Kim
