Hi,
I'm moving to Alicante in January 2023 to study at Alicante University. I was wondering if anyone has any photos or videos of the MiCampus residences that are due to open in September 2022. I was thinking on booking my 5 month stay with them but have never actually seen the outside building and just want to make sure it is in a secure area. Google maps has unfortunately not been updated yet!

Hi Nina,
The student accommodation you mention is adjacent to the main City to University road. Very close to the Outlets and University gates. The tram and bus stops are metres away.
I passed the construction site today and it is just a shell at the moment, NOT near completion. It will certainly be months before it is finished, but should improve that particular block as it was in need of rejuvenation. There appears to be a lot of new buildings in the area and the whole town is generally well kept.
San Vicente town, supermarkets and shops are approx 15-20 mins walk from the accommodation site.
The town is a typical Spanish town with a student population and lots of young families too. I visit there regularly and have never witnessed any social problems or issues of concern.
