In Grant Alacant biblioteca (library) are spanish lessons €125 for a year plus booking fee €5. Or in La Marina, mainly german speakers.

In Polamar hotel on a Thursday evening there is a language exchange / conversation for Spanish English .  There are various nationalities that attend . It's fun and sociable.  5 th floor at 8pm every Thursday ....hope to see you there! 

Also, there are lessons available at the Centro Civico in Calle Casaños .

Good morning Renate, We are moving to Santa Pola permanently on 2nd Feb and would be happy to meet up for a coffee and a chat. We have been trying to learn some Spanish online but intend having lessons when we arrive and having read Anne's reply we will certainly look to attend the meetings at the Polamar as we also wish to meet some English speakers in the area. We had heard of the Spanish lessons at the Civic Centre and also the Library in Gran Alicante and plan on enrolling at one of these when we get over there.

Well we arrived in Santa Pola on 2nd as planned and have been viewing houses ever since we landed. I just want to check that the language meetings are still continuing at the Polamar on Thursday evenings at 8pm as previously mentioned by Renate. We are looking forward to meeting new friends now that we are here to stay.
