Hi has anyone changed from Bankia due to their 14e per month charge? & if so did the new bank do the switching for you ie direct debits etc.?

Thanks Alex.

Shock, horror! I did not know about this charge. Does this apply to any account in particular or just any account?

In reply to your question, I did change banks a few years ago and the bank I moved to made all the changes.

Hi Nettie what I understand as holiday home owner unless 700e and a credit card used twice a month the charge will be 14e per month if the 2 criteria stated above above are met the charge would be 6e per month this is my view of letter & phone call to branch but I would advise checking in branch for clarification which are my intentions when I next come over.

Alex.

Thanks for your reply.

I understand now the difference is being non-resident or resident. Your charges are different to mine but I will check that.

Cheers.
