Get in touch with Bank is  in England they will be able to change your details for you, or when you come to Spain go to a Bank is and they will put everything all ight for you. The problem is BMN not informing their customers not Bankia

I was notified but only via the bank website when I logged on before the change.  I went to the bank and they have now changed my log in details.

Hi Lenco  thought it maybe something like but tried the BANK IS which threw up Turkish bank so wasn't sure if they were tied up with Bankia someway that's why I asked.  I have tried many times to get in touch with Bankia from UK but no joy so far.

Thanks Alex.

Hi Alex, I did have trouble using my card at ATMs I eventually went to a Bankia branch here in Spain and they sorted it out straight away. It would seem that the banks that have been taken over were slow in doing anything for their customers. It was a simple thing that had to be changed on the computer but very anoying to have to go without money for a day or two. If you look up Bankia branches it would be much better to go in person because I can imagine the phone lines are busy all the time. Here in my area I was asked to leave my name and telephone number and someone would get back to me. That was four days ago and they have just this morning rang me back. But of course I was able to tell them that I had sorted it out myself. So if you can get to a Bankia branch that is your best bet. Hope you get it sorted, Len.

Hi thanks Lenco I'll be over April so I think a bank visit is the only way to go. Like you I left my phone no. & they said they would call back but after over a week I don't hold out much hope.

Cheers Alex.
