Get in touch with Bank is  in England they will be able to change your details for you, or when you come to Spain go to a Bank is and they will put everything all ight for you. The problem is BMN not informing their customers not Bankia

Hi Lenco

I have just posted a similar query re BMN takeover and now see your problems etc. I live in the UK and have a house up a mountain near Almeria, I cannot access my BMN bank and the money I am trying to transfer will not go either.

Normally I can cope with all the 'Manana' mindset in Spain but do confess to losing my patience over this?

I wont be in Spain until the end of May. Did you mean go to my own bank here to sort it? Halifax  here I come???

I've no idea what BMN access codes used to be, but Bankia use passport number and the PIN number for your debit card. Have you tried using them?

Hi Alex, I ended up having to go a BANKIA branch and they solved all my problems. Just make it is an established branch and not one that has taken over other banks. Good luck, Len.

I used my passport number plus the pin BMN gave me originally, that seems to have worked

I have also just transferred some euros using the new IBAN number not the old BMN IBAN number. They have changed !

All seems ok now, took some working out though

Hi that is good I tried that but just came up with account blocked may have been because of all the various permutations i've tried.well i'm over soon so with a bit of luck i'll get it sorted out at the branch.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question these little problems are all part & parcel of been lucky enough to have a place in Spain.

Thanks Alex.
