Probably the easiest way is to reduce the video playback quality if you can (section 9 of below link) basically the higher
the quality the faster the internet speed you need.
https://www.comparitech.com/tv-streaming/stop-firestick-buffering/
When in Spain we used https://tvplayer.com/uk/ as this allows you to reduce video quality,
As rough guide see below, but this is a guide only..
The following table shows the minimum speeds required for each playback quality:
Quality Required Minimum Bandwidth 240p = 500 kbps 360p = 1 Mbps 720p = 3 Mbps 1080p = 7 Mbps 2K = 12 Mbps 4K & up = 22 MbpsI have added the below i found on the net.The Amazon Fire TV has enabled the user to watch the videos that are accessed from the internet in the best quality. The product allows the user to set their own video quality before watching the streamed videos or the media content. This feature has been extraordinary as the user has the freedom to keep changing the video quality before watching any of the films or the shows on the big screen. Here is how you ensure the better streaming quality on the Amazon Fire Stick very easily by following the below steps.
Step 1
Now to enter into the settings menu of the Amazon Fire TV, make sure to press and hold the ‘Home’ button for the proper amount of time. You will now be able to get access to the ‘Settings’ that gets displayed on the Amazon Fire TV to choose the specific settings.
Step 2
Now inside the settings menu, the user has to choose the ‘Preferences’ option to get access to the preference-related options for the Amazon Fire Stick.
Step 3
On pressing the preferences menu option, you will notice the several sub-options under it. The user has to select the ‘Set Video Quality’ option to set the streaming quality of the Amazon Fire Stick.
Step 4
On successfully selecting the set video quality option, the user will be
provided with the three options namely good, better and best. You can
choose one of the three options based on the movie or the show you want
to watch.
You can now successfully adjust the quality of the video you watch by setting the video quality beforehand in the preferences menu by following the above steps. Think if your struggling with wifi speed try setting it on GOOD.

Just done both
Speed test = 53.38 Mbps
Band width download = 49.53 Mbps
Band width upload = 55.26 Mbps
I don’t really understand this technology! But are the results any good?

Stevo60, i would think the 4.76 Mbps is around your actual download speed via wifi and this would struggle to deliver 1080p (high quality) video, try dropping video quality and this should reduce the buffering.
As for Peter3473 speeds yes your speeds are considered good, you would have no issues with buffering, wish i had your internet speed myself.

You could have a word with your landlord as you appear to be getting a pretty dire reception/ speed, that would be your first port of call, or is there a receiver type box in the house and if there is can it be moved to try and find a better reception, failing both these thoughts there are wifi extenders which boost the signal, i have used these with very good results in the past though these need setting up, i understand your there for 5 months so it might be worth investing in your own wifi connection, there are several broadband companies that do not require set term contracts ie you could sign up for 5 months then cancel, might be worth speaking to your local PC shop.as well.
(see example of wifi extender at below link).
