Hopefully due out to Santa Pola later in the year, can anyone tell me what the current situation is with the local bus services in/out of the bus station please? We usually use the little bus to and from Santa Pola del este and use the bonobus tickets. Its been so long since we were there, are these thing still going?

Yes the little number 18 & 19 buses are running. The ticket booth is permanently unattended.

When we are in SantaPoka we really enjoyed the little bus service. We hoped it was still running.

Yes, I suspect COVID has been the reason but I’m surprised they didn’t install a ticket machine. All the buses leaving Santa Pola to say, Alicante , Torrevieja, take cash.

An update from a walk we did earlier today, this should for those who need to go from Santa Pola to Santa Pola de le Est. Timetable as of September 2021.

That little bus meets up with the number 18 which services Tamarit & grand Playa. So if you want to , you can bus it to the bus station.
