Hello, we’ve just arrived in Santa Pola for 5 weeks and wanted to know what bus services are available to Murcia? Also, besides sunbathing what else is there to do around Santa Pola and is there a British expat community in the area?

Hi not sure on buses to murcia, and apart from sunbathing, I'd reccomend santa Barbara Castle in Alicante. Tabarca Island( can get a boat across from the harbour) , if you have kids, pola Park, or just enjoy the many bars and restaurants in around the town. hope you have a lovely stay 🙂

Hello

You would be better off going into Alicante - from there you can get a bus or a train to Murcia

Cheers

In Muecia stay away from "Plaza de las Flores" where you can get ripped off. In any case there isn`t much to see, one morning and you had it all. Take tram of Bus line 1 to two big shopping centers "Thader" and "Condomina" really worthwhile. The 65+ benefit form 40% discounted rail fares. .
