Wow, only been in Santa Pola since Dec 2018 and never realised how much I was going to miss being there.

Came back to UK early March and now my flights keep getting cancelled.

I would rather be in isolation looking at the sea, with a bit of sunshine on my balcony but instead, stuck with a chilly breeze and today, snow!

In the same position as you. Came back to UK to visit family and then fly out to Dubai for holiday before returning to our home in Daya Nueva. Dubai airport refused to issue visas to visitors, so no holiday, and now ferry company has cancelled crossing back to Spain !!!!!. Just looking forward, as you are to returning to a bit of sunshine and warmth. And may I say "normality" Stay safe and healthy.

We are in a similar position. Completed on our Santa Pola apartment in late February, spent a couple of weeks working on it before coming back to Wales for a month or so. Now no hope of returning to SP for several months I fear. But conditions in Spain are far worse than here in remote Wales and so we can only feel sympathy for everyone struggling to cope in these conditions.

I’m in the opposite situation...came to Santa pola on the 7th to finalize some outstanding “works” at our flat ...my husband was supposed to join me next week and we were to stay for a couple months or so....but I’m still here and my husband is stuck back in Sydney. His flight on the 4th cancelled and not sure if he’d get past immigration at the airport as his name isn’t on our house document yet..it was another thing we wanted to sort out. So, I’ll sit it out here and keep an eye on my mother and keep fingers crossed he can get out at the end of April.

Sadly, it’s been mostly pretty cool , cloudy and rainy at times. It was nice here yesterday but due 3 days rain now.
