We will be staying in Santa Pola in September in an apartment on the corner of Avenida Valencia /Av de Granada but the complex has no pool . As my wife will not bath in the sea we are looking for the nearest public pool we could use to bathe and relax ,we dont mind paying . Mike

Hello Mike, there are sadly no public swimming pools in Santa Pola. The nearest would be in Elche, you can see here;

Another public one in Elche would be http://www.elche.es/locations/ciudad-deportiva/, but this one only opens from 8am to 12, I think.

There is also a public pool in Gran Alacant near to the Dialprix supermarket on Calle Belgica, attached is also a cafe/restaurant too.

There is a fantastic pool/restaurant called Portus on Avenida Salamanca in Santa Pola.From memory it opens 12 till 7 and has a very good menu del dia for 9euro, admission 4 euro all day.

Their are two swimming pools in avenue Salamanca one is opposite pola park they may be closed in September their is an indoor pool in guadamar at the sports centre will try to find if pools in Santa pola are open in september
