Sorry,  code is not working for me, as only valid for sailings till the end of June. Not sailing to September.

Thank you very much anyway.

So kind of you.

Regards Maggie

OK, that's when I'm due to renew it.

I'm sure one of the regulars will be along soon with another for you.

Hi, have you received an email recently regarding the cancellation in the future of the evening meal on Portsmouth/both Spain ports crossings? We were due to go 13th March but unfortunately need to shift the booking now due to unforseen circumstances. Yesterday email informed me bookings from Dec 20th no longer included the evening meal with a pathetic garbage of an excuse this was due to customer dissatisfaction regarding service of meals on this route and excess food waste. They must think we,re thick, it's just another money making scheme which I for 1 will not be forced into buying their food. If I now move booking it means we'll lose our dinners, so will be doing it by phone and complaining a lot!!  Why did I not receive an email or see update on site before the 20th Dec so could transfer booking? Past years we had a breakfast (now also no longer included) and an evening meal incl in ticket price and the £10 voucher for being member. Now just the £10 voucher as member to replace breakfast only thing available. Disgusting as if their fares have not increased substantially since Brexit and pandemic. What do you think?

Regards

Pauline

Sorry Maggie, I wouldn't have thought 15 people would have used our code since December( 15 max uses from membership renewal start to expiry). You did put 0 as zero not letter O?. If you read my reply to Relyat re Brittany changes, I will be phoning them and I,ll ask how many uses have I left this year to pass on (or not).

Regards

Pauline

Hello Pauline

No, I've received nothing. At least I don't think I have, I only ever use Plymouth and if something arrived referencing Portsmouth I wouldn't have read it. I've also booked my crossings for the year so don't pay much attention to their emails.

Brittany Ferries service is nothing like it used to be. It's one thing for them to increase prices, but do drop standards and benefits is taking it twice. Additionally the cuts to the schedules have made a real difference to me.

I've used BF since 1976 and only once used another method of crossing the channel. As my destination is Plymouth I've been able to justify the extra cost of the crossing by offsetting the additional fuel I would burn, cost of overnight stays and driving time, both sides of the channel, were I to use one of the other carriers.

As my preferred departure ports of Santander and Roscoff are now effectively closed in winter my decades of loyalty to BF is under threat. The cost of convenience is becoming extortionate.

Good luck with any communication with them. I've raised the issue of dogs without muzzles for the past two years and just been ignored.
