100% agree , people were saying here last year don't book flights for summer cos of Brexit blah blah blah , I booked in October but reckon there's people who listen and then worry and now flights will have gone up ! I think the airlines know a bit more than us mere mortals !!

That was all just part of the nonsense and scaremongering that has been polluting the pages of the Forum.

Hi Kim, I do not remember but there was lots of comments like do not exchange currency, do not buy property, do not book flights, do not try to get Residencia, do not breath and all sorts of nonsense. Most of them seem to have disappeared ( thankfully ) as their contributions often turned nasty and were putting people off looking at the Forum for advice.

Obviously you've got enough time on your hands to read every single post that's posted !! Well I know that in October /November last year there were posts advising not to book flights just yet , feel free to go and check but personally I've got better things to do with my time . As for being "smug" if you think saying blah blah blah is being "smug" well...

Hi Kimmy, I haven't time to carry out searches for you to prove the point which anybody who has been on the Forum in the past few months knows to be true. Also some of them have been deleted by the Admin Team because of their tendency to decline into nasty tirades.

Yet you have time to come onto the Forum and insult the credibility of other members while not having the time to keep up to date with posts as they have been posted over the recent months.

Thanks Kimmy for providing such a ridiculous answer, do you really think members should have to take note of the content of posts over a period of months to satisfy your queries. I have not criticised individual members as you have but commented on the general tone of many posts.

Kimmy with all due respect, in October/ November last year when I was looking to book my flights, there was posts advising people not to book anything after march 2019, I'm not gonna name names . My point was that the airline's ( Jet2 who I booked with ) were taking bookings for summer 2019 and beyond , so im pretty sure they knew a visa for a holiday was never going to happen, im glad I didn't take any notice of the advise that was (wrongly) given .

Blimey all I wanna do is go on holiday for 3 weeks in August and maybe a week in April and a couple of weekends during the year ! My whole point was when I booked in October for August posts were put on here saying don't book untill after Brexit , but the airline's were taking bookings untill 2020 !
