Good evening,

We are moving to GA within the next couple of weeks and would like to know where we can buy bedding etc,we know the Gran Alacant centre and surrounding area as we have been over a few  but only ever shopped at the supermarkets.

Any help would be great

Hi Dave

Zara home in Alicante city ... Lovely stuff but could work out expensive!

Primark in elche ... Easy to get to ( by car) as its on the outskirts . Cheap as chips and quality is pretty good .  Pillows are a good buy.

Carrefour in Santa pola ...has a good selection of mattress/ pillow protectors .

Check your labels carefully as Sheets etc tend to be  50/50 poly cotton.  If you prefer all cotton look for 100% algodon

There is a JYSK in gran alacant shopping centre ( similar to ikea)

Finally, there is an ikea about an hours drive nearer Murcia .

Hope this help!

Good luck

Anne

Can only give recommendations around La Zenia, at Zenia Boulevard inexpensive at Primark, quality at Zara. Also on way up fro the N332 towards the Boulevard at the Mercadona you have Yorkshire Linen with good quality and range.

Linen Mills and Yorkshire Linen have very nice bedding and towels. They are in Quesada. And a lot cheaper than Zara Home.

Yorkshire Linen Company at Torrevieja and Quesada and Primark - never used it in UK and really surprised at quality ot towels etc.  Also at the markets you can pick up lovely bed throws etc.

Our experience of buying bedding from Yorkshire Linen and Primark is that Yorkshire Linen sheets go thin very quickly and have to be replaced, whereas ones we've bought from Primark last very nicely, than you. In fact, my wife refuses to consider going to Yorkshire Linen these days.
