Hi guys,

we have a spanish villa in Santa Pola that we regularly leave for work / travel.  Over the last two months we have returned to find mice enjoying our home twice.  The first time I managed to catch the three culprits with a net and move them well away from our house into a local field.  Now, my wife is home alone and has no interest in capturing them herself.  Does anyone know of a company in the area that can help with removing them?

Thanks for your replies. Bart

This plug stays in place for some 24 hours. The gestation period is about 19–21 days, and they give birth to a litter of 3–14 young (average six to eight). One female can have 5 to 10 litters per year, so the mouse population can increase very quickly. Breeding occurs throughout the year.

Much appreciated to the peeps that provided a contact number to local agents.  We contacted one of them who were willing to investigate for 165 euro.  This investigation would involve bringing sticky traps and doing a house survey for entry/exit points.  With that number in mind, my wife headed to Leroy Merlin and picked up some bait traps for 10 euro.  We will try them ourselves and see how it goes.  If we continue to have mouse guests then we will have to call in the expensive experts!  Cheers, Bart
